Letters of Paul: The Church Is the Body of Christ
The apostle Paul vigorously pursued close relationships with the churches he established on his three missionary journeys through the letters (Epistles) he wrote.
These letters instruct us that:
- Christ is over all and in all.
- Christ has all authority in heaven and earth.
- Christ is the Head of His Church
- Christ saves us by grace through faith, not by works of the law.
- Through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross we are reconciled to God and to one another.
- Christ is coming back soon.
“Christ is over all and in all, has authority in heaven and earth” (Colossians 1).
“Christ is the head of His Church, saves by grace through faith, not works” (Ephesians 1; 2).
“Christ is coming back soon” (1, 2 Thessalonians).
We all can discover and learn many things about God’s character, and His plan for our lives, if we will simple seek God first through His Word (Holy Bible).
I encourage you to read your Holy Bible daily and ask God for guidance as the first thing you do each and everyday. In doing so, you will begin each day to fullest measure!
May almighty God bless you deeply,
Tony
